Weekly update

Good afternoon,

Here is an update from your Mountsorrel Beat Team on activity over the past week.

Officers have carried out a welfare check on a vulnerable person to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

We also assisted response colleagues following a report of a burglary involving an elderly resident. Thankfully, upon attendance, this was found not to be the case.

Speed enforcement was conducted on Halstead Road following concerns raised by the community. The majority of vehicles were travelling within the speed limit. Two drivers were stopped and issued words of advice, which were positively received.

Officers have also continued to support response teams by assisting with incidents across other areas of the county.
